Carl Andersen, born 7/3/1881 Denmark. Came to US aboard the Hellig Olav and arrived on 10/20/1904. He naturalized on 7/20/1926. He married Mette Marie Frandsen on 3/4/1905. She supposedly came to US from Denmark with Carl, but no documentation on her yet.
Carl Andersen (father) - his father's name was Christian Andersen and his mother's name was Nikoline Jensen. Mette Marie Mathilde Frandsen - her father's name was Anton Frandsen and her mother's name was Fraderikke Nielsen. They all were born in Denmark.
Mette naturalized as U.S. citizen on 6/12/1941. Also I found out that Christian A. Andersen was born 6/12/1906 instead of 1904. Naturally, it was relief to discover that he was actually born after his parents married instead of 11 months before they married.

Carl (father) died 10/12/1964, Metta died 6/19/1963. All deceased members of this family, excluding Carl V. are buried in the Mound Cemetery in Racine.
